The Secure Parent: From Chaos to Connection

Take Initiative

The Secure Parent coaching program is my one-of-a-kind attachment-based parenting program, specifically developed for moms and dads who are committed to the wellbeing of their kids and their family’s future.
This program will not only teach you practical parenting approaches like how to solve problem behaviors, discipline without breaking relational connection, and navigate meltdowns. It will also teach you how your own childhood impacts your parenting, whether you like it or not. It will teach you how to start healing yourself and your family from the inside out.

As a parent, YOU will be the most significant influence in your child’s life, whether you like it or not. And what you choose to do with your own history, physiology, and emotional baggage will directly impact every facet of your child’s emotional and relational future.

Maybe that statement scares the crap out of you. Maybe it fills you with hope and longing. Whatever your emotional reaction, the science shows that how you engage with attachment—your own internal attachment security as well as relational attachment with your child—is the single most influential factor on your child’s resilience to adversity, neurological development, and ability to build satisfying relationships in the future

What I want you to take away from that is this:

No matter your background, you—and you alone—have an amazing opportunity to give your child the gift of secure attachment.

And I can show you how

Good Fit

Not So Good Fit

*Having mental health problems does not disqualify you from benefitting from my coaching program. Please, get treatment. That’s the best way to be the parent your kids need. Then come back here and book a call; I will help you get the rest of the way.
I know you. You love your kids more than anything, and you’re so afraid of getting this wrong. So be real with me for a minute.
Imagine yourself in 5 years, or 10; picture yourself sitting at high school graduation. Will you still be longing for a better relationship with your child, frustrated by how the same old problems have robbed you of so many precious moments? Will you still be wishing you had done something different?

The Journey

FAQ's

Yes! Therapy is a wonderful tool for working through attachment trauma, finding personal healing, and aligning your life with your values. As a therapist myself, I believe therapy can be a beautiful place to start the journey. Coaching is a different kind of helping relationship. We will spend less time in the past and more time focused on your parenting goals in the present. Coaching emphasizes education, problem-solving, and practical application. Coaching can also be an accelerated experience when compared to therapy—a way to get big results fast for clients who are a good fit.
No! It’s never too late. Neurologically, adolescence lasts into our mid-20s, which means that the brain is still developing, and that development still depends in large part on a connected parent.
You can’t control your co-parent—but you don’t have to let them hold you or your children back, either! It only takes one connected caregiver for children to experience all the benefits of secure attachment. This program could be your key to making sure your children get what they need from you.
Though this program is not designed specifically for neurodiverse children, all neurodiverse children still need secure attachment just like their neurotypical peers—and secure attachment is a huge resiliency factor for children facing extra challenges. Some elements of the content may need to be tweaked for your family—but that’s what I’m here for!
This program isn’t based on opinions or fads; it’s based on seventy years of attachment research, the field of Interpersonal Neurobiology, and years of clinical experience. It’s more than just a do-it-yourself course. It’s a personalized coaching program where I walk alongside you the whole way.
I get it. It is an investment. But that investment is also a sign to yourself and the universe that you are serious about making a change and offering your children more—and when you invest in something, you always get more out of it.
All it takes to succeed in this program is 3-5 hours per week. That’s about 30 minutes a day, which is less than one episode of Grey’s Anatomy.
